Greenergy Systems offers solar photo-voltaic (PV) cell, wind turbine and hybrid (both solar and wind) energy systems. We adapt these systems for use in residential, commercial, contractor and remote environments. Choose from on-grid or off-grid energy systems.
On-grid Energy Systems
Our on-grid energy systems supplement the energy you receive from your utility company by providing daytime energy from solar, wind or hybrid systems. At night, you simply draw power from your wind/hybrid systems or from your utility company.
Sell Surplus Energy to Your Utility Company
Many utility companies offer an additional incentive to homeowners and businesses to install solar systems connected to the grid. This is referred to as "Net Metering". Conceptually it works like this. When your home or business is using electricity from your utility company, your electricity meter runs "forward", tallying your use for your bill. Any surplus energy you don't use flows to the power grid-causing the meter to run "backwards" to credit you. Surpluses are carried over from month to month. Any net credit is settled monthly for commercial systems and annually for residential systems.
Off-grid Energy Systems
Our off-grid energy systems use the same solar, wind or hybrid solutions as our on-grid solutions, and then add batteries to store surplus energy. This liberates you from your utility company by delivering power when little or no energy is being produced. As a backup, diesel generators may be incorporated as well. Greenergy Systems also offers a portable, off-grid solar energy system. This is a trailer-mounted solution that easily travels to remote sites to provide continuous power.

Our solar and energy modular components feature a 25-year manufacturer's warranty, while the inverter components we use come with a 10 year warranty.
Services
We provide design services to tailor an energy system to your needs. Our evaluation of your requirements includes the processing of multiple data points including the square footage of your home, business or municipal site; its roof size; and your historical use of energy.
We also use detailed financial software to accurately compute:
• Your break-even point
• The return on your investment over a specified time period
• The internal rate of return of your investment so that you can compare it to other investments
• For businesses, a 5-year Modified Accelerated Capital Reduction Schedule for your energy system fixed asset
We then install your system and ensure its proper operation. While maintenance is minimal for our systems, we do offer flexible maintenance options for your convenience.
